The Van der Valk BirdBlocker is more than a deterrent – it's actually a safeguard for a solar energy system. Bird nesting materials can restrict natural ventilation, causing reduced efficiency and panel overheating. There's also an increased risk of fire, not to mention the potential for noise pollution from birds living beneath the panels. Twigs brought in by birds can scratch the back sheet of the panel, leading to earth leakage errors.

Easy Installation

With the BirdBlocker, you can practically guarantee birds won't be able to nest under PV panels. The BirdBlocker system works best when it's incorporated during the initial panel installation process. If birds have previously nested beneath the panels, they can be persistent in their attempt to return to their nesting site.

BirdBlocker strips can be easily mounted on framed PV panels, thanks to the specially developed stainless steel clamp brackets. Screws or glue should not be used, as these could compromise the warranty of your PV panels.
