Shipping & Tracking

When will my order be shipped?

Orders with items marked as "In Stock" at SolarWholesaler usually ship within 1 - 2 business days from the time your order is placed. Please refer to the “product status message” as posted on the product page for individual items.

Orders with items marked as “Special Order Items” need to be ordered from our Vendors, and can take between 10 to 15 business days to be shipped.

You will receive a shipping confirmation email containing your tracking information as soon as your order is packed and ready for shipping.

 

What are my shipping options?

General Shipping Information & Shipping Rates

A shipping charge applies to all orders.

We charge a delivery fee of €10 per order up to a weight of 25kg. Delivery fees on orders exceeding this weight will be calculated manually and the appropriate fee applied at the checkout.

Our fast, free shipping offer applies to all orders over €X (after any discounts or promo codes are applied, and before any taxes are added) that are shipped through Standard Delivery within the island of Ireland.

 

Exceptions

All Solar PV panel orders carry a €50 delivery fee. Delivery of PV panels are in the Dublin and Cork areas only. If you require a delivery to a different location in Ireland please email info@solarwholesaler.ie for more information.

Please note that we cannot deliver to PO boxes at this time.

 

Express Shipping

Express shipping: Need something A.S.A.P? Online orders placed by 6pm for products marked as ‘In Stock’ will be shipped the next day.

 

Click and Collect

Orders can be collected from Kellihers Electrical at Ballymount, Co. Dublin. Click and collect orders can be ready for collection within a few hours in the Dublin area.

If you want to collect your order from a different location in Ireland please contact info@solarwholesaler.ie for more information.

Your order will be delivered by a third-party shipping provider who will offer order tracking services. This service will allow you to monitor your package as it makes its way to its final address.

You can check the status of your shipment in the following ways:

- Follow the instructions included in your shipping confirmation email to track your order through the carrier’s website.

- Contact the SolarWholesaler team at info@solarwholesaler.ie

How can I change my shipping address?

By creating an account you will be able to make changes to your address. If you already have an account, you can login, click on My Account and then View Addresses, edit the address you want to change.

If you already placed an order and would like to change its destination, please contact us directly at info@solarwholesaler.ie.

 

Returns, Refunds & Warranty

What is the solarwholesaler return policy?

Trade Customers

We accept Returns from Trade Customers, within 14 days of purchase, provided the goods are in the original packaging, unused, undamaged and in saleable condition. A restocking fee might be applied on items depending on the type of return and the item’s condition upon return.

If you suspect the goods you purchased are Faulty, please contact the manufacturer directly to arrange an exchange or replacement product.

Click on Technical Assistance to find the contact details for the relevant supplier.

When your delivery is received, please make sure that your goods are checked for any damage and that the correct quantity has been delivered. If the goods are damaged in transit, please contact us immediately with photographic detail. This must be done within 3 days of delivery.

If there is a discrepancy with any of the items in the delivered order please contact us immediately so we can resolved it promptly. This must be done within 3 days of delivery.

 

SolarWholesaler Returns Process

In order to return items you must request a return at https://SolarWholesaler.ie/returns, and follow the steps. You can also refer to the next tab of this FAQ "How do I return my item" for step-by-step instructions.

 

Exceptions

Non-refundable products such as Final Sales & Open Box Items are clearly identified in our product description details as non-returnable.

Shipping fees are non refundable.

 

Exchange policy

At this time we are not able to exchange items. Customers who would like to return an item and purchase another will receive a full refund on their returned item and can place a new order for the new item they’d like.

How do I return my item?

Step 1: Contact us at 

Step 2: Package your items securely for return: seal the invoice copy inside the box and stick the return label on the outside of the box.

Step 3: Bring your package to your nearest Kellihers electrical or CT electric branch.

Once we receive the item, we will complete a quality check – the refund will be initiated as soon as it is approved and you will get an email notification when this is complete.

Please allow 7 - 10 business days for your return to be processed.*

*Please note that the return label is a €10 flat fee which will be deducted from your refund.

What happens if my product becomes defective while it’s under guarantee?

At SolarWholesaler.ie you will find authentic and high quality products manufactured by industry leading brands. Products warranties are given and supported by the manufacturer of the product. Because the terms and conditions can vary from one item to another, we always recommend you review the product warranty before completing an order.

If the product does not function as originally described or intended while under warranty please contact the manufacturer directly.

Troubleshooting

How do I place an order?

If you need assistance placing your order, please contact us at info@solarwholesaler.ie and we will be more than happy to assist you, or answer any of your questions.

I placed an order but I did not receive a confirmation email.

Don't worry, it happens! If you placed an order but did not receive a confirmation email within the next 10 minutes after placing an order, make sure to check your Junk mailbox. 

Can I cancel my order?

Changed your mind? Not a problem. If your order has not been shipped, please contact us on email and we will be able to assist you with cancelling your order.

Please keep in mind all orders with items marked as "In Stock" are shipped within (1-2) business days.

What if I can’t find what I’m looking for?

Items that are not regularly stocked on SolarWholesaler.ie are considered as Special order items.

Special order requests may take longer to process and deliver. All special order items are non-refundable and require payment to be made before the order is placed with the manufacturer.

Can SolarWholesaler provide me with an invoice?

Yes, an invoice is sent by email once your order is placed. You can also login to your account, or create an account to access all your order invoices at any time.

 

Click and Collect Policy

Click and collect is valid only if selected by customer when placing an order, and only for orders confirmed via Order Pickup Notification email.

Step 1: Place Your Order

Once you've added all items to your Cart and ready to complete your order, click on Checkout.

Enter your email address in the Contact information section, which is required to send you an order confirmation email and order pickup notification email.

Select Click and Collect in the Delivery Method section.

Please note: Next day pickup is available for orders placed before 6pm on weekdays.

 

Receive Your Order Pickup Notification

Once your order is processed, you'll receive an email to let you know your order is ready to pick up.

Please do not attempt to visit the pick up location until you receive the order pickup notification email.

 

Step 3: Collect your order

Once you've received your order pickup notification email, you can now visit the branch to pick up your order. Make sure to either print or bring a digital version of the order pickup notification email with you.

Remember to bring a photo ID with you. Your photo ID must match the name of the person listed on the order confirmation email.

 

Step 4: Finding your click and collect location

Please click here to get direction to this location.

Your order will be held behind the trade counter, please ask one of our sales representatives for your order.

Please bring the following with you:

- Your order number or Order Pickup Notification Email

- A Photo ID - Your photo ID must match the name of the person listed on the order confirmation email.
